WELCOME
The
College Point Community Ambulance Corps is an all volunteer emergency
ambulance service that serves the College Point, Queens, NY area. The
Corps is looking for community minded, College Point residents, to
volunteer as Dispatchers, Drivers and Attendants. Members who volunteer
as attendants have the opportunity to become certified (training
provided) as New York State Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) which
will enable them to work in the EMS field in the public/private sector.
This is a great opportunity for a young person starting out or a career
change to the health field. It is ideal for students studying medicine
or for those needing community service credit.
